Madison & Hayden

Look at these 2 cute girls! They are crazy when they are together, & both are ALL GiRl, that's 4 sure!! I love to have Hayden over, she reminds me so much of her mom. I guess it's true like mother like daughter. Darcie & I have had a lot of fun memories over the years, & although we haven't always lived close we have keep in touch. I hope Maddi & Hayden can do them same, there is nothing like good friends:) WE LUV U BOTH!!!

The Corn Maze

We got together with Jeremy, Darcie & Hayden this weekend, we went over to their house & had pizza & let the kids play. Then we went to the Heritage Farm to the corn maze, they had a hay jump, & a few other activities you could do. The kids had a lot of fun, Kobe said he wished he was a dog so he could sniff his way out of the maze. (what a kid!) Then after we went to Casper's for ice cream, (if you ask Darcie she'll say it was the best part!! J/K) I'd agree I'm always up for sweets!!

MY LITTLE CLOGGING GIRL!

Maddi has started clogging again this fall. She absolutely loves it, where ever she goes she is always tapping those toes. She takes from Lola Baker, and this year we are clogging at the new Tanglewood in Bothwell.

*TOBY*

This weekend we went to Toby Kieth, at Usana with KC and Jerian, and Jared and Marci. It was tons of FuN!! We ate at the Texas Roadhouse in Ogden, it was way good food, and all of it was"homemade". Our waitress was way hooked on the "homemade" bit, she said our rolls are homemade, are steaks are hand cut, our dressings are homemade are pies are homemade. (and so on) We all were sick of listening to her sales pitch by the time we left:) But the "HOMEMADE" food was good! Then at the concert we had a good time watching all the drunks, make fools out of them selves:) good times!

Beck & Kati went to Toby too. They invited me but we already had our tickets, but I had to get a pic. with them. I love my sisters!!

I'm not really a huge fan of Toby, but I must say he is proud to be an AMERICAN! At the end of the concert he did the song American Solider, and one other but I don't know the name. And they had a slide show of a bunch of our soldiers, in action and few pics. of the flag. It was the best part of the concert! I too am proud to be an AMERICAN, and I'm so thankful to all those men & women who leave their families and are out there fighting for our FREEDOM!

TOTAL FRUSTRATION!!

Well, can I just say that I'm totally frustrated in this blogging world. 1st of all it's my own fault, I don't have a clue how to spell! (thank goodness this thing has spell check) 2nd I can't figure out how to upload the slide show I just made on photo bucket!( it keeps saying I have an error) So I hope that you all don't mind all the long strips of pics. (until I get a little one on one lesson) I'm totally pissed right now!! (SORRY for the language)
But on a happier note... BLOGGING IS AN ADDICTION!! & I LOVE IT! I don't keep a journal & I used to scrapbook (I always thought scrapping was a form of a journal) But as life goes on & my kids get older I'm way to busy for scrap booking. So I'm kinda glad that I've started this blog, cause I feel like it's a little online scrapbook/journal. And besides that it's a good way for our friends & family to keep up with us:)

SOCCER TIME

It's soccer time! Maddi says "she doesn't even like soccer, cause all we do is yell!" We are not trying to yell, we just want her to learn the rules of the game & be a little more aggressive! (James tells her to use her size! & it's okay to be a little pushy that's what sports are about!!) Kobe on the other hand is very aggressive, and is loving it! James & I both love watching them, it's fun to see the excitement on their face when they score a goal or kick the ball.

4 RANDOM THINGS I LIKE ABOUT MY HUSBAND:

1. I love that he is way easy going, and doesn't let things bother him. He never worries about things (at least he never shows it & never tells if he does) or makes a big deal of them. (that is total opposite of me!)
2. I love his touch, just knowing he is there means a lot. (he has a calming affect)
3. I love the GrEaT father & hubby that he is:) especially when he does the laundry that's a big BoNus that I love!!
4. I LOVE it when he gets a hair cut!! Freshly groomed men are my fav. SO HOT!!

1. GREASE: is my all time fav. LOVE IT!!
2. PRETTY WOMEN: color me hApPy there is a sofa in here for 2!!

Well I'm not a huge fan of T.V. or movies so this will be hard. I think T.V. is a waste of time!!

1. CMT: my top pick, especially if I have to do laundry:)

Then I don't really watch any other shows regularly. but I listen to all the shows James & the kids watch like: Dirty Jobs, Hannah Montana, Ice Road Truckers, Zach & Cody, and so on.

STRIKE!

Well Jerian & I decided to take the kids bowling for a little F.H.E. Our hubby's stayed home cause they had been mowing (4 my dad) all day & needed a little rest:) So before we left my own little fam. had a lesson on honesty & then left our daddy home to rest.

We had an amazing time, Deven was the winner on the adults lane & then on the kids lane Triston & Shay tied, & Maddi & Kobe tied. But the most important thing is that we had a good time:) & some really good pizza! YUM! YUM!

I need to learn how to do a little slide show so I don't have a big lane of pics. all the time so SORRY:) EnJoY!

MY LITTLE CoWbOy!

Well, if you know my little Kobe you know that he loves being a CoWboY!! It's James' worst nightmare, but I don't mind to much, cause at one point in my life I wanted to be a cowgirl.

He always says: Mom can I, ya know?

And I say: Ya, know what??

He says: Wear my CoWbOyS?? (those are his WRANGLERS)

And I say: I guess:)

He always wants to wear them especially if he is going to Aunt B's to play w/ the boys, or to watch Uncle Connor's rodeos. We have to beg him not to wear them or tell him they are dirty. (and I purposely don't wash them for days) But in the same sense I love it when he is getting them on, cause he is so HAPPY:) He has the biggest grin (over a stupid pair of pants) & it's not jut the CoWbOyS he has to put on it's his, western shirt & his boots as well. He has a hat too, but we can usually do with out that.

OUR WEEKEND

Well, I'm not to good w/ this blogging thing & I tried to type all of this & then put my pics. on, but they wouldn't load. So this is just a little intro. about our weekend & goes with the post down below. SORRY!

This weekend James & I had to work so Maddi stayed @ Kati's & Kobe stayed @ Becki's. Then on Saturday they went to the John Family Reunion in Portage w/ gp. & gm. Hales. They always have so much fun w/ their cousins friends & especially w/ gp. & gm. THANKS GUYS!!

Then on Saturday when we got home we had a little B.B.Q w/ our friends. We had some OuTsTaNdInG steaks that my hubby cooked on the grill & then a bunch of fresh veggies. And last but not least, root beer floats & cookies. The food was gReAt, but the friends are even BeTtER!!

US @ THE GAME!!!

We decided to go 2 the BEAR RIVER vs. BOX ELDER football game w/ KC & Jerian. I'm not a big fan of football, but thought it would be fun for Kobe to watch, cause he can't wait until he is old enough to play. I went to football games in high school, & have wacth bits of NFL but don't have a clue about the game. But Jerian on the other hand has the game down, she has been going to all of Triston's practices & games, so she filled me & Maddi in on all the plays. It wasn't 2 bad, but I've got a lot to learn before Kobe starts.

THIS IS US NOW!!

WOW! How we have change in a year, it's amazing! (the pic. on top was taken last summer.) Here is a little update on our family. My baby is in 1st grade this year, & Maddi is in 3rd they both are playing soccer & loving it! James & I are both busy working & trying to raise these two little gems.

I did it!

I did it! With the HELP of Jacki, I finally have a blog. I've been thinking about doing a blog for awhile, but I'm not to good with the computer. But the #1 reason I haven't done one is cause I don't have a lot of time, & it's just one more thing to keep up. But I love being able to look @ everyone elses & keeping up with them & what is going on in their world. So I thought maybe some of you would like to know about us!! So here it goes, it will take awhile for me to perfect it! So check back soon for other post & some pics. Thanks Jack!
