WA~HOOO:)

So Maddi scored her first goal of the season on Wednesday night!! WAY 2 GO SISTER:) I don't know who was more excited me or Maddi:) LOL Both the kids are picking up the game pretty well, I am very proud of them.


On a different note......I made it through my 1ST week back to work. It wasn't so bad, my boss is a little onorery. ( IDK if I splled that right & spell ck. didn't catch it)B UT I'm sure I can cure her of that in NO time:) LOL And I must say Monday night was a bit CRAZY, but nothing we couln't handle. And I owe most of that to my WONDERFUL husband, he always picks up my slack! Thanks BABE!! I sure do luv ya:) And of course we couldn't make it through a day w/ out the help of Gp. & Gm. Hales, they are amazing:)

And for those of you wondering YES we are still planning on going on our cruise, so lets hope they get the swine flu taken care of:) ONLY 10 more days!!! :>)

Other than that we are just enjoying life, hope all is well w/ all of you!

our CrAzY-BuSy- life:>)

Well life never has a dull moment.......does it? This week has been CrAzY!! As many of you know I have been on a furlough w/ Autoliv for the last 3 months. It truly has been a blessing! I have been subbing school lunch a few days a week and have got to know some wonderful ladies. I have also been able to be the mom/wife I've always wanted to be:) I have told James I feel like I've been living a dream, it's been amazing:) Well on Monday I got a call from Autoliv and it's time for me to return:( I guess I just woke up from the BEST dream of my life!

They just asked me 3 weeks ago if I wanted to extend my furlough for 3 more months and I was like HECK YES! So I was really caught off guard when they called. I was planning on having the summer off w/ my kids. And a little upset because we are going on our family vacation in a few weeks and I don't have the time @ work to cover my days off. I asked if they'd work w/ me for a few weeks and let me come back after our vacation. BUT they said NO!! So I'll return to work on Monday to see what my future holds @ Autoliv. I'm not really upset because I have to go back, but more upset about the way they say one thing & always do another. They don't realize I'm trying to raise a family and I have alot of other things that are way more important than work:) LOL BUT I do carry our insurance and I do make good money there. BUT this was so NOT part of my plan!

The last few weeks have been pretty emotional for me. I had everything planned out for me & my little family. But life can't always be perfect! I know that there is a reason why I'm supposed to go back to work. But some times I just wish I knew all the answers. I'm trying really hard to look @ this from alot of different perspectives, and to look for the positive. But some times I just have to ask WHY?? I don't know WHY, but for now I will just live day to day and know that my Heavenly Father knows what is best for me and my family. And I will do my part and strive to "enjoy the journey" :)

Just a little F.Y.I. I will have off every Friday and every other Monday and I am still interested in subbing on those days. I'm hoping to keep my foot in the door:) Thanks to all of you who I've subbed w/ you have been wonderful, and I have really enjoyed working w/ you.

*THEN* on another side note for those of you who don't know my little bro. Connor will be getting married to Sunni Caldwell:) We are all so excited for them, but I must say I am very sad to say that we will be gone on our vacation when they get married. But we wish them the best:)

So any how this week has been extra CRAZY, I have been trying to cram in everything I thought I could do later into a few days. Then to top it off I have been so sick today and this was supposed to be the day I got the most accomplished......CrAzY!

On a ExTrA HaPpY note we will be enjoying the HOT summer sun in Mexico in ONLY 14 days!!!!!

So my little Mee Kee Suku (a.ka. Marki) made B.R. Hi-Steppers this week. She has been working so hard and was a little nervious about a few of the steps. But I told her to just think positive and that she'd be fine. Well it looks like all her hard work payed off. She is a good little dancer, and will do a wonderful job!

Alice in Wonderland

Maddi & Kami were in the Mckinley School play, Alice in Wonderland. They were both flowers and also had a small speaking part. They have both worked hard and did an excellent job:)

The soccer season started 2 weeks ago, but do to the weather they both played their first game on Wednesday. It was such a nice day on Wednesday and it was fun to see them both get in there and go for the ball. I took these pics today cause I forgot my camera on Wed. and today it was freezing so I just had them pose on the side lines, cause I wasn't about to get out of the car:) LOL

As you can tell Kobe wasn't to excited to play in the rain, but once he saw his team all playing it didn't take him long to go join them:)

Date Night

Well James finally got the bid for his sled, I think the anxiety has been killing him! So on Friday he went out & got it and a few parts and went over to Bryce's to fix the necessities. After they got it in running condition they took it on a little test drive. It ran good! But still needs new panels and a few other things so that it is in "TOP" running condition.

So any how while he was gone the kids & I had a little date night. We went & got some dinner @ Wendy's then Aunt B had invited us to go watch her & the boys @ their Stake Road Shows. Kobe was not big on the idea, but Mads & I thought it was great!! All the Road Shows were based on different scripture stories, theirs was called "David & Goliath a Bugs Eye View" and of course I thought it was the best one:) LOL They really did do a good job! I was shocked to see how Becki could perform so well dress liked that, she didn't even act nervous. I don't think I would have been able to hold a straight face it was the funniest thing I've seen in along time. The boys both did a good job too.

Well it turned out to be a GREAT night for Kobe after all, he was invited to go stay @ Aunt B's. I really think he invited hiself:) LOL but Becki is always so willing to have him and he loves being w/ Uncle Rod & the boys. When we got home I asked Maddi if she thought that it was unfair cause Kobe got to go & not her. She said no, I said good cause he is the one who gets to go & have the "sweet life" for once:) LOL I told her that's what Kobe always says cause she gets to go alot more than him. BUT in 20 days Maddi & Kobe will both get to experience not only the "SwEeT LifE" BUT the "SwEeT LiFe On DeCk" :>) LOL

Just a little F.Y.I there is a kids show called the "Suite Life of Zack & Cody" and the "Suite Life on Deck". It's about these 2 boys that live in a hotel in the "suite" and have a so called "sweet" life, then they get to go aboard a ship & experience the "sweet" life on deck. So it's just became an inside joke @ our house, it just me being CrAzY and my kids LUV it!! J/K I don't think they know anything different:)

As I mention down below, the kids went to gp. & gm. Hales' on Monday after noon to color eggs. When I started getting dinner ready Maddi asked if she could make deviled eggs w/ the eggs they had colored. I was fixing Chinese for dinner & didn't think eggs went well w/ that, but I thought what the heck. She was so "egg"cited to make them, she did it all by herself. Gm. had made some while they were there, so she knew "egg"actly how it make them. I was so proud of her, I started to kinda get teary eyed to think that my baby girl is getting so grown up. They turned out wonderful, her daddy loved them:)

Then on Sunday after church we went out west w/ the Hales family on a picnic & to the City of Rocks. It was a long drive, but well worth it! It was fun to see all the old farms, & the kids both had a good time climbing @ the City of Rocks.

On Monday the weather was so nice James & Kobe mowed lawns for uncle Caleb and Maddi & I ran to Ogden. After we got back home the kids & I well I should say Maddi & I, (Kobe got preoccupied by playing on the tramp) worked in the yard & then a lil later James came & mowed the lawn. I loved having the kids home and LoVeD lOvEd the weather, I hated to see it come to an end. But last but not least it just wouldn't be Easter w/ out coloring eggs, so after the yard work Maddi & Kobe rode their bikes down to Gp. & Gm. Hales to color eggs. Have I ever mentioned how wonderful my in-laws are, they truly are a blessing in our lives. Gm. always picks up all my slack & helps the kids learn new things. They both are so good to us!! Gm. also taught Maddi how to make deviled eggs, so stay tuned for a few pics of Maddi making deviled eggs.

Well that about sums up all our events, nothing to GrEaT but the BeSt part was being together and taking it easy!!

SpRiNg BrEaK

I'm so sad that SpRiNg BrEaK is coming to an end. We haven't done anything to fancy, but I have loved having the kids home & takin it easy. Here's a little run down of our events over SpRiNg BrEaK:)

We started it off on Wednesday night going to one of our local favorite restaurants El Parral. Then after that we went & got some frozen yogurt @ Maverik & took a little drive around the valley. Then on Thursday we went to the movies, Maddi & I went to Monsters vs Aliens and Kobe & James went to Fast & the Furious. IDK how their movie was but Maddi & I liked Monsters vs Aliens it was a pretty cute show:)

It was James' weekend to work so on Friday we just kinda hung around the house & then a lil later Maddi & I went & got a pedicure. After that the kids just played outside w/ the neighbor kids. Then on Saturday morning the kids & I headed up to Fielding to the egg hunt. We were going to try Tremonton's this year but opted out cause the kids wanted to be w/ their cousins.

After the egg hunt Kobe went to play @ Gp. & Gm. Hales' . Maddi & I went to the Hannah Montana movie w/ Heather & Schauna & their girls. It was such a cute movie, I LOVED it!! After the movie & when James got home we headed over to Chris & Sue's for a BBQ w/ the Benson Clan:) We had a good time.....and as always we ate way to much!

Taco Night

On Sunday after conference we went to Gp. & Gm. Hales' for taco night. Gm. usually does tacos once every month, they are the BeST!! Just ask James his mom's are far better than mine:) LOL He told me that once, can you believe that??? We had a good time, I love being around James' family. They are all so easy going and it's nice to just sit back & relax:)

I didn't get to many pics, cause I kinda got preoccupied by BJ and his new tattoo:) LOL gOoD tImEs!! I think I'm still in shock!! But don't worry BJ I still love you:)

WAY 2 GO BEAZER!!

Well as noted below my lil brother Connor rode in the College Regional Finals. He has had a few rough years w/ lots of injuries & set backs. But I think all his hard work & dedication are starting to pay off. He rode last night and scored a 77!!! He took 1st place in the Rocky Mountain Region & won a saddle. He really does ride like a pro, and has a pretty big fan club. I love watching him, I get a huge rush as he comes out of the shoot, it is awesome! I'm so proud of him & his determination, he has alot of lil nephews that look up to him. Thanks for being such a good example & teaching the lil boys to follow their dreams.

A GoOd day gone bAd:(

*WARNING THIS IS A VERY LONG POST! MOSTLY FOR MY OWN GOOD! SO IF YOU DON'T LIKE DON'T READ:>)

Well my poor hubby had a real bad day yesterday:( He & a few of his friends were riding up Providence Canyon. When the coolest friend of all (KC) LOL:) got stuck, so James & Dusty went to his rescue. Dusty rode up first & got off his sled then came the speed demon (James), James couldn't get stopped & tried to pull his sled over so he would miss Dusty's sled. BUT unfortunately it didn't work, and the above picks are the result of what happened!

So know I just have to add my 2 cents:)

All of us (meaning wives & kiddos) were @ home doing are things. We had planned to all go hot tubing after the men got home, so we were thinking they would get home in gOoD time. Well little to our surprise they were 5 hrs. late. To make a long story short I'll just give the main details..... Well it was about 2:00 & James had called me, they were up by a cell phone tower & he was checkin to see what I had decided on doing as far as the weekend went. SIDE NOTE: My lil bro. Connor was ridin in the College Regional Finals & all my family was going to Twin Falls, ID to stay the night & watch him. But it was kinda last minute & we had plans w/ our friends & I couldn't decide what to do. I love watching my bro. & being w/ my family, BUT I hate last min. plans. So James said he would do what ever I wanted. So on w/ the story he called & I said that we would just stay home & go w/ our friends. He said they'd be heading out pretty soon. So then it was 3:00 then 4 and still no word from them. Then it was 5 and Jody called & we were talkin about our plans for the night, & she says have you heard from the guys. I was like no & I'm kinda gettin worried. Jody said she wasn't home but when she got there she'd let me know if they were there. We both thought it was kinda weird that they weren't home yet since they knew we were going hot tubing and they always get home around 3 or 4ish. I got off the phone w/ Jody & then Jerian sent a text askin if I'd heard from our men, I said no & I'm sick. I was getting so worried, cause I had been full of anxiety all day & I was thinkin that the reason we didn't go to ID was cause something bad had happened. Everything & anything was going trough my mind I was literally so sick I felt like I was going to puke. Then Jerian said KC had sent a text & she'd forward it, it said: still on the mountain we had a little carnage. I was like WTH?? I had no idea what carnage was I'd never saw that word in my life. So then I forward it to Jody & in the mean time we (us wives) are calling texting, reassuring each other. If your a woman I'm sure you can relate:) Jody & Jerian both let me know that carnage was a wreck, I was thinking there were 5 men so that one would go call & give us the info. WRONG!! Then it was 6ish & I was way worked up by now, & Jody called Chris to tell him & so he loaded up to go look for them. So by this time I was sittin on the couch waiting thinking of all the worst possibilities & thinking someone was going to pull in my driveway with real BAD news. I couldn't take another minute so the kids & I loaded up & went over to Jerian's & on my way there I get a text that's right a text that says: we r on our way home. NO phone call to say what happened, or that they were okay. So I must say that really sent me over the edge! 5hrs. late, plans w/ the fam. & a TEXT. Oh ya I was on fire!!! So I call James & say why are you sending a text?? tell all of them to call their wives we are all worried sick! and I'm sure I said a few other choice words:) I get to Jerian's we talk it over & then I get to thinkin I better text Jody & see if they are still planning on coming over. She text back & says no Chris is up @ the parking lot & they aren't even there. I felt terrible no one had got a hold of her yet & I never thought to tell James Chris was on his way up. Talk about POOR communication! But as time went on everybody got notified & all were okay.

When James & KC pulled in I knew James would think I was pissed cause of the wreck. And sure enough he did:) I wasn't mad about the wreck, accidents happen. But what I was mad about was the poor communication. MEN & WOMAN have a totally different way of thinking. So I must say this was a good learning experience for us @ the Hales house. I'm grateful that the only thing that was hurt was my mans pride:) LOL I do want him to know I love him & I'm thankful he returned home safely.

A special THANKS to all our friends for their help! I hope my lil Bryce & his knee are okay:) And I must say Jody is one of a kind, she never gets upset & always stays calm & looks for the positive. All of which are the exact opposite of me. And to my lil Miss, for always being there when I need a friend! Chris thanks for going to check on them, you are awesome! We love all of you, & hope to have many more memories w/ you & your families:)

Texas Cousins

Yesterday Lynsi my cousin & her husband Walter came to town. They moved back to Texas a little over a year ago, we had a little get together @ my mom's. My mom fixed some homemade chili that was wonderful! But I must say the cookies really hit the spot:) It was fun to all be together.

But on another side note yesterday I started my new job:) LOL Not really but since I'm off work I thought maybe I could help my bro. mow. So yesterday I drove a riding lawn mower for my first time WOW!! You'd say WOW too if you saw me, it was so crazy! For those of you that know me know that I'm not all that coordinated so it was a little scary! I think Caleb was laughing the whole time:) gOoD tImEs!!! And I was crying @ first cause I was thinking I don't know if I can do this! It turned out to be OK:)
