cRaZy Me.......

Okay so I've been in the blogging world for two months now, and I'm loving it! I love to just sit down and blog about our families little outings, and just everyday life, I feel like this is a good way for me to express myself as if I were keeping a journal. We have been asked by many church leaders to journal, and I can honestly say now I know why. I have been touch & inspired by reading other blogs, and I love the fact that my family will be able to look back & read/look at the fun times we had.
I remember back when my grandma Udy was sick and we were all helping take care of her up to the day she left this life to fulfil a higher calling. She had written down in a small book just a few little notes about each day. I remember sitting in her chair when I was on duty & reading them. How fun I thought it was be able to see her handwriting as well as what her days consist of. As fall and winter are fast approaching, I think of my grandma often this was her favorite time of year. She was an amazing women, I think that all my family would agree! She made the BEST tuna sandwich, and wrapped the most beautiful gifts at Christmas time, and kept the most beautiful flower gardens. And I must say that her & my gp. were a great example of marriage. They were each others right hand, and always so happy:) They complemented each other very well. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't stop to think about her, and the great example she was. I LOVE YOU GRAM AND MISS YOU TONS!

Well... That was totally not what I planned on blogging, but I just had a few thoughts & emotions come over me. And so I guess there you have it!

cRaZy mE...back to the blogging thing, so just to let out a few frustrations about blogging. I don't think I am ever going to figure out how to do a slide show or any of that fun stuff. I have tried Photo Bucket and today I attempted Picasa, I thought it would be fun to do the kids pumpkin walk & tonight's HaLlOwEeN pics. But I have failed, I'm obviously not to computer smart:) And also today I just realized that you can change the font and SIZE on your journaling. I have seen some cute journaling & thought I wonder how they did that??? just look in the top left corner DUH!
Also I'm not the BeST english major, so don't mind my punctuation or spelling errors! (YeS I do know that it has spell check) Amy was quick to tell me about spell check, cause I'm always on the phone asking how to spell stuff:) And even with spell check sometimes I'm so far off this thing doesn't have a clue as to what word I want:) And now that I've found a new addiction let's say I don't think my hubby is to impressed, he's like so do you think you can break away from the computer?? (LOL) But hey it's FREE so whys he complaining???
And just a few more things, sorry to bore you with my whole life story. But I guess if you don't like it don't read my blog J/K or maybe NOT!!
I made it threw my 1st week of grave-yard and lets say it wasn't so bAd! I love being here each morning to get my kids off, and I've actually gotten some good sleep. And still made time for blogging J/K made time for my family. And felt like things will be okay:) Thanks for letting me vent!!

PUMPKIN WALK

Last night we all headed to the school for the pumpkin walk. The kids were so excited, cause they got to dress up! We had a pretty good time, it's always fun to see all the different costumes people come up with. And the school did a really good job of putting it on, they had some fun activity's for the kids & gave out some FREE stuff to bring home to help the kids with reading, writing & rhyming. I think it was the BEST one we've been to.

Each class has a theme, Maddi's classes was anything to do with space. (hers is the one with the stars) One of the classes themes was nursery rhymes, they had some little pigs, and humpty dumpty it was my fav. but I didn't think about taking a picture:) I was way impressed with what some of the people came up with. And crazy me I didn't know that you could paint them I thought they had to be carved, so maybe next year we can come up with something a little more creative. But Maddi was happy & that's what counts:) Kobe's class didn't do one, I think we was a little bummed!

CARVING PUMPKINS

Tuesday night we carved pumpkins for family night. We were a day late, because we kinda had a crazy Monday. Sunday night was my first night on grave-yard, so I wasn't up doing much. I need a few days to get used to it again.
The kids have a pumpkin walk at school on Thursday night, so Maddi carved stars in hers. Each class has a theme & her classes is space, and she said she wanted to do stars cause it would be easy:) We went out side & lit them up, you can't really tell in the pic. But I think they turned out pretty good!

Then just some random things...... I just wanted to tell my hubby how wonderful I think he is. He is always so good to help me. I've had a really hard time going to grave-yard, because things are going so good for us & I don't want it to put a strain on our family. But he is always there to reassure me that things will work out. Thanks honey! I LOVE YOU:)

PRIMARY PROGRAM

Today at church we had our primary program. I must say on Wednesday at the practice I was a little worried, that is a lot of kids to try and keep their attention. Needless to say it all came together very well, all the kids did a wonderful job:) I have always been able to go to sacrament and enjoy watching and listening. But not this time, James & I both teach Sunbeams so I got to be up on the stand with my class. (James had to work) It was an amazing opportunity, to be able to see the excitement on the parents faces as their kids got up to say their parts and sing. I love that we give them an opportunity to be able to stand and speak in front of a crowd. I think it helps them come out of their little shells, and gives them great confidence. The one thing that I truly love is hearing the primary children sing, they all have such sweet spirits. And every Sunday as I set in primary I get a few tears in my eyes as they sing I Love To See The Temple. I hope and pray that I will be able teach my kids as well as my class the importance of the gospel. I must say it is a very challenging age to try and teach, but we always seem to make it:)

SNOW SHOW

Can I just say that We had the BeSt weekend, We've had in along time! It's always fun to go for a weekend, but it's even better when you are with a fun group of friends! It was the annual Snow Show, and if you know my hubby he kinda likes the snow:) There was 8 of us,We all loaded up in Bryce & Jody's Suburban and headed south for the weekend. We had a BLAST! Here are a few pics. of our adventures:)

Okay, I really wanted to go to a haunted house I love them! There is nothing like getting a good scream in rIgHt? BUT...... the only way I could talk Bryce into going is if We went to dinner at HOOTERS! The guys all said it was GoOD food & a gReAt atmosphere I wonder why??? BUT..... just for the note the food was AWFUL! BUT..... Castle of Chaos was AwEsOmE, so it was all worth it to me:)



Then to end our trip We had dinner at Texas Road House in Ogden, where the food was all HoMeMaDe and delicious! Thanks guys for a great weekend WE LOVE YOU!!

P.S. The kids enjoyed a great weekend at gp. & gm. Hales. Gm. always finds fun ways to entertain them, they went to Arctic Circle, King's to buy a toy, and had soup in little pumpkin bread bowls. They are both always eager to go hang out with gp. & gm., and that makes leaving them easier! Thanks gp. & gm. WE LOVE YOU TOO:)

Just a few things......

Well, I just have a few things I want to get off my chest so sense this is kinda like a little journal for me here it goes.... Today at work we had a shift alignment, it went off your hire date. So needless to say I'm heading back to grave-yard, I start it Sunday night YUCK!! I only missed day shift by 3yrs. Yep you guessed it, it totally sucks!! But I'm trying to look at the bright side of it, We won't have to get a sitter & the kids won't need to stay over at gp. & gm.'s any more.(except when James & I need a little get away) And the best part is I get a BUCK more an hour, that's a total bonus in it's self, cause if you know me you know I love $$$. And one other thing is that I will be here every morning to get my kids off to school & they are both happy about that!!

Now for the fun stuff....I just wanted to write/type a few cute things Kobe said last night, he is so full of it:) We were at the corn maze & when we were leaving just out of the blue
he says I know what seniorita means I say you do what? he says a HOT CHIC in Mexico
And then he starts laughing his bum off, what a kid!! Then we are driving up the hill by Taco Time & we see this kid walking on the side of the road & he says look there's a hippy. And a said a hippy? He's like yeah, he says do know what a hippy is? It's someone who wears their pants so their butt crack shows and then bust up laughing again. He is to funny, I love this little guy:) I don't know where he comes up with all this stuff, but he says he learned it from Carson???

Then today I was taking somethings to Becki at work, and I had Maddi just run in. When she was going in a couple was heading out they looked kinda older & the lady was first and Maddi stopped and held the door for her. I thought what a good little girl, I was so proud of her and I told her when she got in the truck that she made a good choice & I was proud of her:) One thing I don't really enjoy is kids that don't have manners, so I always try to remind my kids to say please & thank you and watch for ways they can help others. I know that we will always have room for improvement, but for now it looks like it is paying off:)

CORN MAZE

Last night we went to Carter's Corn Maze with my family. It was a fun little F.H.E my kids always love to be around their cousin friends. My dad was out west so he couldn't come & Becki, Kati & Jacki's families didn't make it either. We had a good time but missed the ones who weren't there!

ONE LAST CAMPING TRIP

This past weekend we went on one last camping trip, with the Summer's & Merritt's. We went to Marci's parents property up in Malad, it was so nice and the kids had a blast. We took my parents Ranger & they all brought up their bikes & 4-wheelers.

NiNjA gUy

I guess you could say we are a little excited for Halloween:0) I let Kobe wear this all day yesterday, I even let him wear it up town why we did errands, he thought he was the coolest kid! And if you know me I worry a lot about what people think so I was really concerned, And I said you honestly want to wear that to the store?? And he's like yea! So I just said to myself I have to let him be his self & if he is comfortable, I will be too!

Fall Fun

Yesterday the kids & I were a little bored. As you can see I took a picture of our Coco-Motion, and blogged about it. James was laughing at me he thought that was the most ridiculous thing to blog about! But oh well, I took it one step further and took a picture of these way cute soup bowls I bought at Kent's. Maddi & I had went to the store cause we had saw a few ideas about carving oranges and thought it would be fun. So we needed to get a few oranges, and while we were there I saw these soup bowls & couldn't pass them up. We had soup for dinner & then our oranges filled with chocolate ice cream for a little treat after. It was all so YUMMY!

The kids thought it was fun, and I was so proud of myself! We had root beer to drink & I told James I thought it was a good fall beverage. I know I'm a dork!! But I was really using my imagination and trying to be a good mom:) And we had fun & to me that's what counts!

FALL IS IN THE AIR

OR should I say WiNteR?? It was so cold today! But I love this time of year, when life seems to slow down and we have time to just stay home & enjoy our family:) I love the chill that's in the air, breaking out our hoodies, snuggling up in a blanket, and most of all pulling out the CoCo-MoTiOn and enjoying a hot cup of joe! (hot chocolate)
If you don't have one you better run to Wally's and get one. We LOVE IT!!

CAMPING

Well, I must say that we had an interesting little camping trip. WHY?? cause it rained the whole time, so we spent the whole time in the trailer. But we made the best of it as you can see.... Maddi & I took turns doing each others hair:)

James & I were so excited to be able to spend the weekend with our little family. My parents & James' brother & sister & their families came too. We didn't get to spend much time visiting due to the rain. But we enjoyed watching conference with my parents in their trailer, and listening to all of the messages from our church leaders. I love listening to all the great messages they have, and thinking of ways I can put them in to my life. Some times I feel like they are meant just for me. Our lives are changing daily, & I feel so blessed to be able to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. And most importantly to be able to pray to our Heavenly Father, I wouldn't be able to make it through the day without prayer.

What a GoOd week!!

Well, I feel like I am having the best week ever!! WHY?? Well I kinda got a wild hair on Monday, & put my car up 4 sale on KSL. It wasn't even on there a 1/2 hour, (I mean 1/2 hour) & James got a text saying they would by it, & then the next morning another guy called & Tuesday night they showed up @ the house with the $$$. WOW that was so fast, I wasn't thinking that it would sell that fast, I've been going back & forth for along time saying I'm going to sell my car, no I'm not & so on (you get the pic.) So needless to say we are a one car family, I'm not sure I was thinking with the right brain, but oh, well....
Then 2 night the kids had their soccer games & Maddi scored her 1st goal of the season!!! GO MADDI!! It was so exciting, there is nothing like seeing the excitement on your kids face when they have done something they are so proud of. She was so HAPPY:) & so were we cause this whole season we have been trying to teach her to be more aggressive & use her size!!! And 2 night I think she finally got it!!
Then Friday we are going camping, in our new trailer!! And one more thing.... I'm totally looking forward to conference this weekend!!
