Look who....

Graduated 5th grade, my tiny son... He isn't so tiny any more! :'( 

 

5th grade has been a little rough for P, but he finally made it and did an excellent job!! I am so proud of him and the young man he is becoming. He has made a lot of accomplishments lately and I am so proud of him!! He is a little turkey but he sure makes life FUN!! He doesn't really like to "smug" his mom any more, which makes me kinda sad...  My baby boy is getting all grown up!!

Then he also WON 1st place in his class on his Science Fair project, he was so EXCITED!! I am so proud of him!! :)

I didn't really like how the above pic looked, he tries so hard when it comes to pics so I told him to relax and put his face down... And this is what I got!!

I thought it was a cute pic, it just shows his true personality and just how full of it he is...

I love you son and am so proud of you, keep up the good work!!

Over the last month we have been pretty busy @ our house with dance, scouts and last minute school projects!! And I am so ready for SUMMER!!

 

In case you guys don't know I absolutely LOVE SUMMER and I LOVE the nice warm weather we have been having (minus the last week of rain)...

 

Anyhow on with my kiddos and what they have been up too...

Kobe did the 5th grade Science Fair and his project was to see if there was a chemical reaction when you mixed Red Bull with Milk... Sure enough there was and it caused the milk to curdle, it was pretty awesome!! And he was one proud BOY!!! :)

Was pack meeting and my boy earned his Webelos badge and his Arrow of Light. He was so excited!! He said... I finally graduated!! :) LoL I am so proud of him, he is a good hard worker and likes to stay active. Good job P!!

 

 

 

Then on a little side note, the other night there was a meeting for a football fundraiser and I had told Kobe it was really important that we go. James and I had left to get Mads from dance and her dance went over so we were running late. We tried to call him (no answer) so we rushed home and he had rode his bike to the park and made it to the meeting all on his own. I was super proud of my boy!! Sometimes he gets side tracked so this made me proud , mostly cause he listened!! Usually I don't think he hears a word I say!! :) LoL

 

 Now for Miss Maddi, I guess she earned this award in March but didn't get to bring it home until this last week... She was nominated for Builder of the Month @ Alice C. Harris and I must say I am pretty proud of my girl, good job Sister!!

On the back of the award this is what it says....

I'm proud to nominate Madison as builder this month. Madison takes the time to do her very best on whatever task may come her way, and she completes her work on time. She has a positive attitude and never complains about what she is asked to do. She brightens the room with her smile. She is willing to help those around her. Madison deserves this honor as one of our school's builders because she is a great student and a fantastic friend to those around her.

 

She was nominated by Mrs. Wilcox, her Core teacher.

 Good job Mads, I am so proud of you. Thanks for being such a good example and such a hard worker. I think she has a little anxiety like her mama and gets her stuff done!! She is always of top of it!!

Was Maddi's dance Revue and she did AMAZING!! I am so proud of her, she loves dance and has improved so much over the last year and has her splits down. Good Job Mads!! :)

All I can say is there has been lots of sad and crazy things going on in the world. I am so grateful to have my little family healthy and be living a simple life. I am so proud of my kids and their accomplishments!!

 

We are ready for SUMMER, swimming, camping, SUNSHINE, late nights and just relaxing.... Bring it on!! :)

Our 1st

Long road trip on the bike.... and I mean LONG!! :)

 

We left Wednesday night (4/27) after work & stayed in St. George with a bunch of Tremonton folk (The Sandall's, The Oyler's, The Richardson's, and The Capener's) then we headed to Laughlin, NV on Thursday and meet up with our AZ peeps (The Hardy's and Rowley's) for the Laughlin River Run, it was DAMN HOT!! After that we headed to Kingman, AZ for the night and then Friday we went to Prescott, AZ. Saturday was to Sedona, AZ and then Sunday we headed back to Kingman for the night and then on to St. George Monday and home on Tuesday...

 

The 1st day was pure hell on our bums, but we made it!! It really was a lot of fun, just along ways to go for the 1st ride of the year. We went with an awesome group of people and had so much fun!!

 

 

We saw lots and lots of bikes, I thought Kobe would think this bike was cool :)

Here we are in Oatman, AZ on Route 66, it was a pretty cool lil town that has donkey's walking around. But we got there late afternoon and the donkey's weren't around. :'(

We stopped at this little bar/hotel in Kirkland, AZ on our way to Prescott it was so cool and so old and run down, it kinda made me a lil nervous. :) LoL

Headed back to Kingman on Sunday we got a flat tire on our bike and it pretty much SUCKED!! But I am glad we weren't hurt and it all worked out. While we waited for help we got to meet a drunk old Indian and all I can say is it was VERY interesting!! :) LoL

 

Damn old Dogma and lots of Hogma!! hahaha

We had lots of fun and got to see lots of pretty country. I can't wait to go again and I would totally love to move SOUTH!! I hated coming home to the cold. When we went through Vegas on Monday it was 105* and when we got home Tuesday it was freezing!! The next morning we had freeze warnings and snow!! BOO!! :'(
