Spent the day hangin with these 3! Nothing like chillin in the pool when it's 104* outside.... We are so blessed!

June 2nd Maddi and I left at 4:00 AM to hike to one of the most beautiful places we have ever been! We went for Young Woman High Adventure... It was 10 miles in and a brutal 10 miles out! It was so fun being with my girl, a memory we will always cherish and it was absolutely amazing! 

The Sunday before we left I got called to be the 1st counselor in the Young Women, I felt so honored! I originally signed up as a volunteer because I felt like this hike was a once in a life time opportunity. It's part of the Havasupai Indian Reservation in the Grand Canyon. But I was lucky enough to go as a leader... 

Major update...

Well it has been awhile since I updated our blog.... So here is a quick run down of what we've been up too.

On May 31st we celebrated Kobe's 13th birthday! I can't believe he is a teenager. He is such a great kid and brings many smiles and lots of laughter where ever we go. He got to speak in church on his special day and did a wonderful job! Happy Birthday Pal!

Over Memorial weekend we took a lil trip to good ole UTAH! We got to go to Aunt Kay's 90th birthday celebration. She is such a great lady and will always hold a special place in my heart.

On the May 17th we celebrated my birthday...it was pretty amazing, I got to spend my birthday weekend in St. George with Jerian after we got home I made myself this delicious giant Black Forest cupcake and James spoiled me with a gift certificate to the spa!

While in St. George we hiked Dixie Rock and it was AMAZING! It was a beautiful day spent with some of my favorite people.

Kobe took 1st place on his science fair project.... But since I did most of the work I felt like I should take a pic with the award as well, so basically I'm saying I took 1st place! LoL

We worked together and our hard work paid off! We did it on bread mold.... Side note bread from the 99 cent store does not mold!

April

Easter Sunday we had the Rowley's over and frosted cookies and colored eggs....

Easter weekend was also General Conference weekend so Saturday afternoon we took a lil hike to Monolith Gardens here in Kingman and then drove around touring Chloride, AZ. It was a prefect weekend spent as a family.

February 

On February 20th our lil man got braces....doesn't he look handsome!

On Feb. 19th Mads had an awards assembly for soccer and she got the Coaches Award, which basically is the MVP... She's got it goin on!

Valentines weekend was spent in Vegas with our main peeps..... The Merritt's! We got to watch T play a lil baseball and Hayden play a lil volleyball and then we ended the night with the best meal ever at the Cheesecake Factory! YuM!

We also got to meet up with Jacki, Cade, Em and Ash! It was a prefect Valentines spent with people we LOVE!

So this happened...

Yep... We are finally legal! James says now I have to say I'm from AZ...

Here's our BOY!

We are so proud of P, he has made the honor roll twice this school year! His goal is to hit high honors this semester. I'm so proud him, keep up the good work Pal! We celebrated with a lil ice cream! :)

Happy 15th Maddi Jane...

Happy Birthday to our baby girl! She is beautiful inside and out, we love her and are so proud of the beautiful young lady she is becoming. She is very responsible, caring and the best helper. I love the example she is to me... I love you Sis!

So it's nearing the end of the season & this girl has rocked it! I'm so proud of her & her dedication,she has got to practice and play goalie the last few games... We are so proud of her for trying something new and it's been so fun to see how much she has improved. Yesterday we took a lil road trip to go watch her game in Cottonwood, AZ. It was raining and freezing cold, but it was well worth it! Afterwards we got to eat a yummy dinner @ Olive Garden!

While we were in Utah we also got to celebrate my moms 60th birthday! Jacki did a great job of hosting and planning everything. It was a surprise and I think it all went well!

I'm so grateful for my mom and her wonderful example, she is an excellent cook, cleaner, organizer, handy man, and a wonderful example in the gospel. I love you Mom! 

P.S. Aren't all those tiny kids just so cute! :)

Snow!

We got a lil snow here in K-town on New Years Eve, we got a total of about 8 inches, way more than we saw in Utah.... It was crazy, this whole town shut down! The kids both stayed in Utah while James & I came back for work, so they totally missed it! 

We went back to Utah on the 1st to get the kids and have a lil more fun! James got to go snowmobiling a few times and loved it! Mads spent most of her time hanging with Jake and her other friends... And the highlight of my trip was seeing all my lil nieces and nephews, and watching my big nephews @ their wrestling meet and last but not least Kobe & I got to go hot tub @ Crystal with Jerian & Jody and the kids.

The kids loved hanging out with their cousins & friends.... Going up to the property with Aunt B. and her boys was one of the highlights of Kobe's Christmas vacation.... 1/1/2015

Christmas Time...

We spent Christmas in Utah and it was fabulous! We loved being able to be with all our family & friends. This is a picture of all of us Christmas Day! :)

Kobe got to go to Utah a few days earlier than the rest of us, so he missed out on a few things we did here @ home. That is why he isn't included in the next few pics... I'm kinda sad I didn't get a pic of him in his new church pants and Christmas tie.... He got to ride from Vegas to Tremonton with James Hawkes in his semi and he thought it was the best thing ever! Aunt B. picked him up and he surprised Carson! It was so sweet....

Here is our beautiful girl in her 1st pair of high heels and her Christmas dress, she is all grown up! Her dad didn't really approve of her "short" dress & heels... I told him, I guess this is my lesson and what I get for letting her pick out & try on her own dress without looking at it. I guess I felt like if she liked it then we were good to go... 12/21

After we dropped Kobe off to ride with James Hawkes, the 3 of us went to the the Las Vegas motor sports park and saw the Christmas lights. It was pretty dang cool, I think it will be one of our new traditions. 12/19

We hosted a lil Christmas party here @ our house with our AZ peeps. We had a lil dinner, did an ornament exchange, played the reindeer game & frosted sugar cookies... I thought it was a pretty fun lil party.... But I made way too many cookies! So after church Sunday, James, Maddi & I made up a few plates and took them to the homeless shelter. :) 12/20

Here in AZ they do school dances at the middle school a lil differnt, they aren't during school. They are held after school, śo here is our handsome boy all ready to go!
