Yesterday I cooked my very 1st turkey!! & I must say it turn out pretty dang good!!
I was pretty impressed with myself....
Not to mention I have been Betty Crocker lately... Idk if it's having our own place or if it's do to Pinterest & all the yummy recipes, but I can't complain & I don't think my family will either. I have cooked some damn good meals lately!! =)
Here's a lil update....
We haven't been up to much, just school, work & every day life!!
But we are liking our lil rental & the ward is amazing!! They really have gone out of their way to welcome us... I taught my 2nd lesson yesterday & it didn't seem to becoming as smooth as my 1st one. But after a few prayers & lots of practice, when I finally gave it I felt like it was better than my 1st one :) Idk if the ladies in my ward would agree, but I was pleased! I don't think I will ever be a pro, but I am learning alot & so are my kids... & my hubby is amazing and has helped me so much! I am grateful for his knowledge of the gospel & his support.
The Saturday before my lesson & the morning of I pass out the parts (that I'm going to pass out to the ladies) to my kids & James and then I time myself giving the lesson & have them read the parts & answer the questions... Maddi gets sick of it & says... MOM it's going to be fine, you don't need to read it again :) LoL But I am grateful she is willing to help me...
