WOW!!

So I never thought it would happen to me, cause I live in a small, little, "safe", town. Well I had someone of whom I have NO clue of who they are leave a comment on one of my post. Well when I went back into click on their name, it says profile unavailable. It was a nice comment, but I think it's time to tighten up SECURITY!! lol:)


This TOTALLY freaks me out!! I don't have any idea who this is, and the name is not familiar to me or any of my family. I just wanna play on the safe side!! So if you enjoy looking/reading our blog please leave me your email address. I don't care if your a close friend or family or just a local blog stalker:) lol How ever I will only add you if I think you are "safe" sotta speak!

I really enjoy looking in and catching up w/ friends and family. And this makes me sad to think that there really are CRAZY people out there. I don't mean CRAZY as in CRAZY like myself:) ha ha ha.......But CRAZY as in CREEPY!!


P.S. Today I am spending the day w/ Jacki & baby Emry, she is so CuTe!! I love her!! Since you all know I'm not to hip w/ technology Jacki is helping me do a few things on my computer and will be helping me in the "security" department:)lol

So I was wondering about my above comment is it: "sotta speak"?? Jacki says it's "sorta speak" or maybe it's "so to" or I said maybe it's "soda".....but either way you get the idea right?

BUT I am wondering what you think it is, leave your "word terminology" as well as your email in my comments!!

Hope all is well w/ all of you and your families!! We are busy working & the kids are enjoying going to school and playing @ gp. & gm. Hales. And I'm getting geared up for my hubby's favorite time of year....WINTER!! :( :( I hate the cold!!

BEAR LAKE

So I've been a bit busy working my bum off, so I'm a lil behind:) This is our lil outing last weekend! James had to work so just the kids & I went & I must say it was a pretty good time!

For as long as I can remember we have gone to Bear Lake the second weekend in October w/ all of the "Kent" clan. When we were all younger we all stayed in the same condo, but as our family has grown we've had to get a few extra rooms. We have ate the same menu & played the same games year after year & it's a wonderful family tradition & I love every minute of it!!

Now I love all my nieces & nephews, but I must say these 2 are "MY GIRLS" I just love em to pieces!! Syd is showing off her hat & Mags is wear her eye shadow those were their prizes they won from BINGO!

I'm so grateful for such a fun loving family! We have our problems but for the most part we all get along & the kids love being w/ their "cousin friends". I know it's a lot of hard work for my Grandma & our parents, but it's well worth it if you ask me:)

aunt B

and her BOY!!

Well as I mentioned below Maddi spent her fall break crocheting & hanging w/ Kami. Well Kobe spent his fall break @ Aunt B's, he stayed over there 3 nights in a row! He loves going to the Bywater's and loves being in the country. He always asks me if we can please move to the country! When Becki picked him up on Thursday night he was just going over night, then she called and said he could spend one more night & I 'd meet her @ Carson's game to get him on Saturday. Well James & I got to the game on Saturday and Kobe had the saddest look on his face, he was totally upset that it was time to come home. We were going to my parents later that night so I told him he could ask B if he could stay & we'd get him later @ moms. Sure enough she let him and as it got time to go home from moms Saturday night, he wanted to stay w/ Aunt B again! Carson was @ a b-day party & wasn't even home, but Kobe said that's ok he'll be comin, so I let him go again:) WOW!! Well on Sunday I knew it would be a chore to get him to come home so I called Becki a few times & told her to be prepping him and telling him I'd be there to pick him up after conference. Maddi & I pulled in to Becki's yard & Kobe runs out to meet us w/ a huge smile on his face and asking if he could PLEASE move to Aunt B's. I said no and he says PLEASE Carson really wants me to:) I told him to get his things cause he still needed to do his homework & we were going to gp. & gm. Hales' for dinner. So he did and on the way home he says mom PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me move there! I said no son, he says well you could see me twice a year on Thanksgiving & Christmas! lol:) And Maddi says well you know if you move there you'll have to do chores, he says just water and Maddi says well that's a chore. He says ya but it's the easiest & the cows use more water than the horses. lol:) Then he goes on to say that Aunt B has a dishwasher & it's him! I said really? He says ya Carson taught me how to wash the dishes w/ my hands. (just in case your wondering we wash our dishes too, but not by hand!) Then he says mom I really REALLY wanna move there & if I do I will have to change my name to Kobe R. Bywater. Branson & Carson both have R for a middle initial so that's where he came up w/ that. He had totally thought all this through & thought it was the BEST idea EVER!! I love that he loves going to Aunt B's but I think when it came right down to it he'd miss us. So I think he's here to stay, but he did say when Christmas break comes he wants to move there for the whole time.

I must add that when we got home I had Kobe tell his dad all about his plans and I think James was a lil offended when he said he wanted to change his name. James says I think Kobe JAMES Hales is the best name of all! (that's heavy on the James) lol

DoMeStIc DiVa'S

Well as I have mentioned before I have the most wonderful in-laws. I am so very grateful for them they are a huge help & teach my kids so much. Both Maddi & Kobe live for the moment to get to go to their house.

Delorise has been teaching Maddi how to crochet. She is one smart lil girl & has caught on very quickly & she loves it!! My mom has taught Kami how to crochet as well, so over the weekend they have both made hot pads. I'm pretty impressed with these 2 lil girls!! They were having a sleep over here on Friday night & after James put up the air mattress & got the bedding ready they both crawled into bed & grabbed their yarn & started crocheting. James thought it was kinda funny to see these 2 young girls acting like lil old grandmas:) LOL They finished their hot pads by early morning & needed help finishing them so they headed to grandma Lorise's and she helped both of them. Here's a pic of the finished product.
Then Madison has also helped her grandma make this afghan. She has done some of the squares all by herself, what a domestic lil girl! I'm so proud of her, she is one good little girl!! She is already so independent in so many ways, I hate to see her grow up. But I'm very proud of her and the young lady she is becoming!! LUV U SISTER!!

Girl's Night

Last night my dad invited all the boys to go to the priesthood session w/ him. So my mom made homemade chili, rolls, & cookies and all us girls & small boys went over to her house & hung out. We all look a lil rough, and everyone was concerned about me posting the pictures. So just keep in mind we were having a lazy day & enjoying a lil family time:)
