Camper World

We planned to go camping over Labor Day but do to do football we decided to just chill @ home. We had dinner w/ the Belew's on Friday night & then Saturday night after football we headed up to Camper World to hang w/ my family for smores and swimming:) Then Sunday after church we went back up for dutch oven dinner, YUMMY YUMMY!! After dinner we went back to the Belew's for a LATE night!! Us moms went to redbox & got The Last Song a MUST see. Me and Mads had been wanting to see it and it was EXCELLENT!!

Let's go BEARS!!

A few weekends ago we went to BEARS vs. Box Elder high school football game. We had a BLAST!! We started the night off getting to baby sit the cutest lil Mr. He is just so dang handsome, and is always so full of smiles:) My kids & James were both so excited!! I love having my nieces and nephews over but my lil family just loves CD (Clancy) Kobe says YES!! We get to tend him for 3 hours, and he can come to my football practice:) LOL Mads and I had a rough time getting our selves & this lil man ready, I am so out of the baby loop, but we got it done!

We went to the game w/ the 2 Belew families and met up w/ Roxie & Tom as well as Aunt B and the boys and Aunt Kates and her kids. Aunt B was getting a lil crazy signing all the cheers w/ the band, Clayton was impressed!! LOL:)

School Days...

Summer went by so quick! I don't think I was ready for school to start, I love the summer sun and late nights. But my Maddi couldn't wait!! She loves school and she was super excited to have Mr. Esplin again. She had him in the 3rd grade and we loved him and are looking forward to another great year.

I can't believe my baby girl is in the 5th grade WOW!! She is growing up so fast and is so sweet and sassy just like ME!!

Now Kobe wasn't so excited!! School is not his favorite, he would rather be playin outside or coming up w/ some CRAZY contraption:) He is in the 3rd grade and has Mrs. Bitton, when he came home on the 1st day he said he thinks he has the BEST teacher @ McKinley and Maddi has the 2nd BEST!! lol:)

I think Kobe's favorite part of starting school was being able to wear his new LEGO STAR WARS shirt! It was a lil cold so he had his jacket on & I didn't think to have him take it off for the photo, and don't worry I didn't let him wear those hip and trendy shades to school:)

Baby Em....

Turned 1 on Aug. 29th. I don't usually blog about my nieces and nephews birthdays but I think Jacki went all out and I was SUPER impressed!! She made Em the cutest cake ever, with matching cupcakes, table decorations, birthday banner, and an outfit as well as dinner for the whole family. She did a great job!! And I must say Em is the cutest lil thing EVER!!

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME......

FOOTBALL!

Kobe started little league football this year and he is loving it!! A lot of the boys on his team played last year so they know the game a lil better. He didn't really get too involved or aggressive until these last few weeks, I think he's finally catching on:)

Football is a BIG thing here in Tree-town, and I find it kinda of silly how everyone goes to watch practice EVERY day!! I have a million and ten things I could get done in an hour and a half, but Kobe wants us there. He even told Gp. Kennard to come watch...."It's every day Gp. @ the Garland park so come watch any time you want:)" LOL He loves it!! He even asks Maddi to please come to practice, it's not really my thing Maddi says she thinks she probably knows the game better than me...which is probably RIGHT!! All I do is say... "Honey is he doin good?" then James will proceed to give me the 4.1.1 :)

I must say it's been pretty fun being able to go watch and hang w/ my hubby:) On the days Maddi comes to watch her & I leave about 40min. before practice is going to get over and start walking/jogging home and then my HOT babe hooks us up w/ a ride the rest of the way:) And I love spending that time w/ my Mads....

So my over all opinion of FOOTBALL....I'm not too hip on it, but it's GREAT time w/ my family. And every now & then I need to be there to remind my son to open up a can of whip your A$$!! and that in Tree-town when you play FOOTBALL your playin for BLOOD!! :)

4H

This summer my mom did cooking (baking) 4H with all the girl cousin's 8yrs. old and up. They went to Gm. Lynn's once a week and learned how to bake. They all LOVED it!! Maddi thought it was so fun, she loves being w/ her cousin friends and she loves treats just like her mama:) They made some EXCELLENT treats!! Each week they made enough so all the girls could take a plate home to share w/ their families (my favorite part) and then they would take great gm. Kent a plate and visit her too. On the week of the fair they baked peanut butter cookies w/ a kiss in the middle. My mom took all of them to enter them in the fair and Maddi got a blue ribbon, she couldn't of been happier!

GOOD JOB SISTER!!


I'm so grateful for my mom taking the time to help and teach the girls how to cook/bake. Life just isn't how it used to be when I/we were young. Everything is all about convenience, and being a working mom this is probably something I don't take time to do. THANKS MOM!

1 GR8 day of school shopping!

On Friday before school started Jenni, Kalli and I took the whole gang shoppin:) We left bright & early @ 8:30 A.M. and headed to Ogden. It was a lil CRAZY if I do say so myself but it was pretty dang FUN!!

We shopped and shopped and then headed home for our lil PARTY!! (posted below)



I must add us mom's had to take a few things back and we didn't find/get everything we needed so Saturday morning we headed to Logan and it was so nice and PEACEFUL!!

SHOCKER!!

Well as I posted below we love the fair!! But this year Kobe decided not to do his rabbit and Maddi had went to rabbit 4H all summer long and then decided Sunday night before the fair that she was gonna be to nervous to show her rabbit and didn't wanna take it. This was do to the fact that her mother had to beg her to work w/ it and she kind of left getting her bunny out & ready til last min. (her friends were FAR more important!! :) I think she learned a valuable lesson....do not procrastinate!!

So any how we didn't really need to go to the fair every day, so I know you will be SHOCKED but we skipped a day of the fair and hung w/ our peeps:) and it was AWESOME!

Kalli's parents have this huge blow up slide that they let us barrow and the dads ran water down it and we had our own lil water slide. I was really looking forward to going down the slide myself but it turned off a lil cold and I had to opt. out...I don't do cold!!

FAR better than the FAIR & SOOOOOO much CHEAPER!! :)

The good ole PaRaDE:)

Well if you know my family we are all kind of "freaks" about the good ole Box Elder County Fair and Parade. So my kids are carrying on in their mothers foot steps:) and let me just add their dad is so proud!! (not really, James is not a fan)

The last few years Jacki has been in charge of the parade so me and my sisters helped her, and I thought it was lots of fun! This year Angie (my cousin) was in charge and asked if I'd like to help but I had to pass cause James and the kids were going to be in the parade and I needed a front row seat:)

My lil Maddi danced w/ Dance Factory and she thought it was GREAT!! She loved every minute of it and is looking forward to starting dance next week.

*side note... as I have said before I'm in need of a new camera, so don't mind the pictures that seem a lil off colored:)

And as usual we sat w/ Uncle Dewayne and Aunt Barbara (The Falk's). Aunt Barbara has saved us a seat for the parade every year for as long as I can remember. And we all look forward to it every year...THANKS!!

Lagoon....

On Tuesday the 17th of August we went to good ole Lagoon w/ Darcie and Hayden. It was the quickest Lagoon trip I have ever had. We couldn't leave til Maddi got done w/ dance and had to be back for football.. CRAZY!! It was a pretty short day but we had FUN!! It's always fun to catch up w/ Darcie, we hardly ever see each other but when we do it's like we never skipped a beat:) Maddi loved hangin w/ Hayden and James & Kobe were 2 peas in a pod.....

to Tori and Carl, they were married on Saturday Aug. 14th.

a day in S.L.C.

On Friday the 13th of August, we headed to S.L.C for a fun day in the city:) Kobe had his yearly check up for his eye and we had planned to go spend the night Thursday night, but Thursday was M.O.M's summer party so we just woke up early & headed down. We did a lil school shoppin on the way and then before his appointment we took the kids to Hogle Zoo. The zoo was pretty ok, but nothing great like I thought it had been in the past. I told James I guess that was a sign that our kids are past the zoo stage. Maddi wasn't impressed @ all and as you can tell by the pictures Kobe loved all the snakes and reptiles and was really interested in posing for photos:) lol

After the zoo we went to Jamba Jucie and my kids thought they were in heaven:) It really hit the spot!! Any how next stop was Primary Children's and Kobe did great!! It's always a LOOOOOONG visit, I think we were there for almost 3hrs. SUPER BORING!! Since we have been taking him the doctor has always said that he would need glasses before long, but he lucked out again and his vision is PERFECT!! and his eye seems to be doing fine:)

Then on the way home we did a lil more shoppin and ended our day w/ dinner @ our favorite "homemade" restaurant Texas Roadhouse:)
