SEE WHAT I SEE??

I thought I'd just do this lil post for my hubby, to let him know that his favorite time of year is on it's way!! I took this picture out my back door this morning it's the first snow of the winter season which is approaching us way to fast!!

I love days like this where it's nice & chili outside and oh so warm inside! I love to lay in my bed & watch CMT & love to snuggle my kiddos as well a my hubby! But I really hate to see the warm days of summer leave, it's my all time favorite season. But I do love the fall scents & warm soups & the cheer that the holidays bring! So here's to a wonderful fall/winter welcome!! My hubby last winter, all decked out in his gear:)

IT'S ALIVE!!

So as James was mowing the lawn Monday night he found a lil friend. He called Kobe over to check it out, he thought it was the coolest thing ever. He kept chasing it, and the snake would slither away. Maddi was to scared to come out, but Kobe & Kami thought it was GREAT!!

I just wanted to tell all my friends & family thank you so much for all you have done for me. I really appreciate all the phone calls, texts, fb messages, dinners, flowers, cookies. Whatever you have done it has not gone unnoticed, you are all so wonderful!! I appreciate you taking time out of your schedule to help me & my family!

And since this is a lil journal for myself, don't mind if I rattle off a few thoughts:) Sometimes I think it takes just lil things like this to make you realize what you have. I think the Lord has a special way of letting you know when change is needed. But he never fails to help pull you through!

My KiDs........

are/were so BORED!! So Kobe called his dad @ work today to ask him if he could get some boxes for him to play with. James rode his bike today so the kids & I went up To Malt-O-Meal when he got off & got a few boxes. They used their imaginations & came up w/ a few different things they made go carts, huts, a trailer & then they just relax & watched TV in the biggest box.
Sounds pretty lame I know but it was FREE and I think its days like this that kids will remember most:)

BJ & Holli's Wedding

Well I haven't been feeling the best I have a kidney stone & it's the worst pain ever!! But yesterday BJ & Holli got married, so we ventured over to their reception in Franklin, ID. I didn't get to many pics cause I really wasn't up to it, so Maddi took most of the pics we did get:)

B.R. Football

Last night we went to the homecoming game w/ my family & a bunch of friends. Marki is a Hi-Stepper this year & was dancing @ half time so we all went to watch her. She did an amazing job, I love watching her facial expressions. She is a good lil dancer!! I took a bunch of pictures, but I didn't think they turned out to great.

family fun!

The Hales family went camping this last weekend, in American Falls, ID. They went to Indian Springs, we used to go there all the time back when the kids were really little. I was really looking forward to going, but do to work & a few other things we were unable to go. But on Sunday we rode up & had lunch & let the kids swim w/ their cousins & then they stayed the night w/ gp. & gm.

We had a fun afternoon together as a family. The kids stayed the night & James & I were able to come home & just hang out. We rented a movie & woke up bright & early Monday morning & went on a ride w/ some guys James works with. It was awesome as usual:) Then later Monday after noon we went to gp. Udy's & Ann's for a lill BBQ w/ my family. It was a fun weekend, but went by way to fast!!

I must say I think SUMMER is coming to an end. I love the HOT SUMMER SUN & hate to see it go, but I love the kids being back in school & getting back into a schedule. And I love that I can pick my house up & it stays clean for longer than 2 seconds! We've had a pretty good summer & stayed busy. I've been able to meet up w/ alot of old friends over the summer & have loved catching up w/ them. James & I have loved our newest purchase (the bike) and have went on a lot of fun rides. But I'm sure James is loving this fall weather cause it means winter is just around the corner!

Brett & Jenni & their family were here for a short little visit. We were able to go over to Clayton & Kalli's and just hang out & let the kids play. It was so fun just sitting around & reminiscing about the good old days. I don't think James thought it was all the great since he wasn't around for my wild & crazy days & couldn't really relate. But he was a good sport & enjoyed listening & maybe learning a thing or two:) LOL Jenny, Kalli & I had lots of good times cruising the streets of Tremonton back in the day and thinking we were all that! But I'm glad we've all grown up & can look back @ the good times we had!

Today when the kids got home from school Maddi said she lost the key to the bike lock so they had to leave their bikes @ the school & walk home. So tonight on our way home from Jacki & Cade's we were telling James about it & asking Maddi when she had the key last & where she put it and all that good stuff. She said she had no idea where it was & was almost in tears:( Kobe says HEY sis did you say a prayer? Maddi kinda started to giggle & I said that's a good idea P (a.k.a Kobe) he says ya cause I lost a toy once & I did it & it really works! But then he says but sometimes it doesn't cause I used to have this lucky penny & I did it (meaning saying a prayer) and it didn't work, I didn't find my penny! So James says then I guess it must not of been lucky huh? lol:)

James & I looked @ each other w/ big smiles when he first said it, and I started to get tears, cause I was thinking it actually works! I know my prayers have been answered many times,not always like I may want them to be but he really does watch over us & knows what is best for us! But most of all I got teary eyed cause even though I don't think my kids ever listen to me, it seems like they must be learning something despite all my yelling! And if they don't learn anything else @ least they are learning they can always count on our Heavenly Father.

The bikes are still @ the school & I have looked all through Maddi's back pack & jacket & still NO key! Thank goodness we have an extra:)

Tonight we took dinner over to Jacki & Cade and got to see our newest member of our family. She is a lil sweet heart, my kids both loved holding her and Kobe loved her lil cheeks:) My batteries were dead in my camera so I took these pics w/ my phone so they aren't the greatest!
