HaPpY bIrThDaY KoBe

WOW!! I can't believe my baby boy is 7 years old today:) It seems just like yesterday when we welcomed this sweet lil man into our family! Kobe is such a lil cutie!! I love the things he comes up with, his imagination is WiLd!!

He loves being a "cowboy" and spending time @ Uncle Rod & Aunt B's. He loves to wear his "cowboys" (aka Wranglers)

His favorite food is ice cream:) and he always wants a "after day snack" when he gets home from school and he thinks he needs dessert after every meal:) What can I say he has my sweet tooth!

He LoVeS STAR WARS and has a hard time focusing on anything else when "his" show is on:) He likes to stay up til 10:00 p.m. every Friday night to watch the so called "Last Episode of Star Wars"

He is a very early riser! Even if he goes to bed @ mid-night he's up by 7:00 a.m. this makes me so NUTS!!

He loves to "snug" and we all love to "snug" our tiny man:)

He loves being outside and could play for hours by himself:)

I'm so grateful to have this little man in our family! I love you son and hope you have a very HaPpY bIrThDaY!!!

The NEW biker BABE:)

Well as many of you know my dad had a wild hair last year and bought a bike:) LOL I'm sure you are thinking Rick on a bike?? That's what I was thinking too!! and I think my mom thought he had gone crazy!! (not really) Not to long after Connor got one too. They both have been really good at sharing them!
James & I have both always wanted to get a bike, but thought we should wait til our kids were older. Well Connor wants to sale his bike so James & I test drove it over the weekend. WOW!! Can I just say I've been in heaven!! After the reunion the kids went & played w/ their cousins. So we went on a lil ride we took the back rodes to Ogden, it was so freakin AWESOME!! I think I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time:) All I can say is WOW!! On our way home it started to rain on us, and I even thought that was FUN!

I'm TOTALLY sold, but I'm not sure if our budget is:) LOL and don't worry I didn't hold my legs up like that on the ride. I was just doin a quick pose for the camera as the "new biker babe" :) :)

Udy Reunion

Every year on Memorial Day we have a family reunion w/ all my gp. Udy's brother's & sister's and their families. We have done this for years, we usually have it at Marble Park but the last few years we have went to the Fielding School just in case it rains. The kids have fun playing & being crazy! My sisters and I always wonder why we even have the reunion. Each family brings their own food and sits at their own table. And then after we eat we just leave, we don't plan any games or activities. It really is kind of crazy!! But we always go to support my grandpa:) Hey it's free food, so you'd go too:) LOL

Last night we went to Syd's birthday party and after the party Kobe went to Aunt B's for boys night and Maddi went to Aunt Kate's for girls night. Maddi & Kobe love being w/ their cousins! Kobe is in heaven @ Aunt B's, he loves helping and playing on the farm:) And as you can tell from the picuters above Maddi, Kami & Trevi love dancing and being silly girls:) And for some reason I always luck out and don't usually have to take a turn w/ boy or girl night. Which is fine by me, I can only handle one at a time! Thanks Aunt B and Aunt Kate!!

Tonight my mom and all my sisters and sister in-laws took me out to dinner for my b-day. We went to Chili's which is my favorite! I love being w/ my sisters we always have so much fun! and I can say we truly are one of a kind!

Maddi's 3rd grade program

So as I was getting Maddi's hair ready for school this morning, she says mom guess what? I say what? She says today is my 3rd grade program I'm like well why didn't you tell me before now! I said I have to sub school lunch and daddy's @ work and gp. & gm. are gone. She started to cry and I said well why didn't your teacher send a note home? She said he did last week, but we were gone. I felt terrible! I said well if it's @ the end of the day I'll be there. As I dropped her off I told her to find out what time it was @ and call and leave a message on my phone, but that if it was early in the day I wouldn't be able to be there. She said ok and closed the door w/ big tears in her eyes:( OH MY!! I was so sad, I didn't wanna let her down so I was hopin & prayin it would be @ the end of the day. Well I got her lil message and it all worked out it didn't start til 2:) :) I was so relieved!! I met up w/ Kati and her & I watched our 2 cute girls toot their little horns (recorders). It was a cute lil program, and I know Maddi has been working so hard in her music class to pass off all her recorder belts.
I thought this was a cute pic of the 2 of them:) They both have loved learning how to play the recorder. But as for Kati & I it kind makes us NUTTS!! :) LOL

WHAT

a CrAzY week!! :) :)

So as many of you know I'm back to work and can I just say this has been one crazy week:) Monday night we had family night and we all worked in the yard and planted our flowers. I think our neighbors were probably embarrassed to say they lived by us, our yard was a weedy mess! It still isn't and probably never will be all that great, but it looks much better! I kinda lack in the yard/gardening department:)

Then on Tuesday I took the kids to get their hair cut. (posted below) After we got home from that Maddi & I went to watch Marki @ her dance revue. She is an amazing little dancer!! I took some pics but they aren't that great so I'll spare you:)

Then on Thursday we took the kids to go pick out rabbits to show @ the fair. Maddi was able to bring hers home, but Kobe's is only a few weeks old and needs a little more time w/ her mom. So he'll bring his home in a few more weeks. The kids have been having a ball w/ the bunny, they have feed it carrots and checked on her every hour of the day:) I'll post pics later! After we got home from getting the bunny, Maddi & I went to watch Trevi @ her dance revue. She did a solo and did an awesome job! I was going to take pics of her, but my batteries were dead:( After the dance revue Maddi & I went to Wendy's w/ gm. Lynn and aunt Jacks. James and Kobe had their own little date. And you will never guess where they went to eat.......Burger King (YUCK!!) But they had to go there cause the toy in the kids meal was......STAR WARS!!! Kobe is totally hooked on Star Wars lately.

It seems like we have been running all week! Maddi had clogging twice this week and also started coach pitch. I'm so ready for school to be over, so we can slow down a little:)

So I have been begging Kobe for a few months to get his haircut & Maddi has been asking for a haircut. So on Tuesday night I took them over to Alison's to get their haircut.

Kobe wanted his head shaved, but James didn't think that was to great of an idea so I told Alison to cut it as short as she could w/ out shaving it. He looks so handsome! When we got in the car to come home he said mom I look like an army dude! Then he says when I go to school my friend Ammon won't even know who I am:) LOL

Maddi has been growing out her bangs, and wanted to cut her hair extra short to try and grow it out all together. She also wanted her hair to look like Aunt Jacks:) It turned out darling!

They both have short, short haircuts and are ready for the HoT SuMmEr SuN!!

Cloggin Kids

Yesterday Maddi had a clogging competition @ Lagoon. James & Kobe stayed home to get the laundry done and get things put away. What an awesome husband I have huh? Maddi & I met up w/ Kami & Aunt Kates:) They dance w/ Bear River Country Cloggers (Lola Baker), Lola does an awesome job and keeps things low key. I love it! She is always so positive and my lil Maddi loves tapping her toes where ever we go:) Kami took last year w/ Dance Factory and changed over this year and it made Maddi's day!! They will be doing a duet @ their review:) they are 2 great lil cloggers!

Day 7 = May 15th

HOMEWARD BOUND!!

We were up and on the road by 8 a.m. and we drove like you know what! LOL

We made lots of good memories and had lots of FUN!! Thanks Marsh Family for the BEST vacation EVER!!

It's always nice to be home! and a special THANKS to Uncle Brad for watching over our baby Diesel and to Gp. Kennard for watering our lawn:)

Day 6 = May 14th continued

VeGaS baby here we come!!

After we got off the ship we headed to Vegas! And you will never guess where we stayed.........HOOTERS Hotel & Casino, for 20 bucks a night we couldn't pass it up! (thanks Jerian) We went to MGM and saw the lions, then to M-n-M, we got to M-n-M @ 6:05 and the last movie was @ 6 so we missed it:( we were all kinda bummed! Then we went to Coke-a-Cola and they had a polar bear that the kids got a pic w/ and then we had to try the tastes of Coke around the world WOW! some of that s#!t is nasty! But it was fun for the kids:) Then after that we had to try just 1 more buffet @ the Monte Carlo and then we just walked the strip. It was kind of an eye opener for the kids, and I was a little nervous myself and had the worst nights sleep!

Over all I think we had the BEST vacation ever!! And got to see lots of fun things and the kids were real troopers and traveled well:)

Day 6 = May 14th

The LAST day!

On this day we woke up bright and early! We got already and had to be out of our room by 8 a.m. then off to enjoy one more breakfast buffet:) After we ate we had to wait in one of the lounges for them to call our number. It seemed like forever, but we were off the ship & out to the truck by 10:00 a.m.

We had a BLAST!! and I think Maddi & Kobe enjoyed their "sweet life on deck" :) LOL

Day 5 = May13th

another FuN day @ SeA!!

This was the last day at sea so we made the BEST of it!! The kids went to kids camp, swam a few different times, and ate many more ice cream cones! I know that there are probably a few anal people out there (like me) and notice the kids have different swim suits on, but yes these pics are all on the same day. They just wore different suits each time they swam:) James & I along w/ Brady & Heather just hung out and enjoyed the SUN!! If you haven't noticed by now laying out and the SUN were my favorite parts!! We got to see a few dolphins swimming in the ocean and also got to see what Carnival considers our sister ship pass us up!

After a day full of sun, we went miniature golfing:)

Before dinner we all went to a fun show, called Spin. It was way cute & had lots of fun dancers and singing. As you can tell Hayden was wore out @ dinner and fell asleep:) LOL After dinner we put the kids to bed & James & I went to an adult comedy, it was so FUNNY!

Day 4 = May 12th

FuN day @ SeA!!

They had a kids camp on the ship, that had all different games & activities to keep the kids entertained, So Maddi & Kobe went to kids camp for a few hours this day. They both thought the instructors were mean, only because the instructors let them know who was boss:) LOL Let's just say our kids are a little spoiled.....thanks to me! After awhile they both decided it wasn't to bad and went back the next day. While they were gone to kids camp James & I just laid out and enjoyed the HOT California SUN!! As I mentioned down below swimming was the kids favorite so they swam everyday and they enjoyed LOTS & LOTS of ICE CREAM!! YUM!! The ice cream was Kobe's favorite part, he ate an ice cream cone w/ every meal, including breakfast:) and had about 2 ice cream cones in between each meal:) LOL We also went to a really cool magic show before dinner, Kobe was so impressed!

Day 3 = May 11th

CATALINA ISLAND

Catalina doesn't have an actual port, so to get to the island you have to ride in lil speed boats. Once we got to the island we did the glass bottom boat tour. We road in a little boat that had little holes that you could see the ocean and all the sea animals (mostly fish). Then on the sides of the boat it had holes that you'd dump fish food down and the fish would just swarm. It was pretty cool! The tour guide said that they have seen other sea animals besides fish, but it was very rare. Then after we got done w/ that we rented a golf cart and toured the rest of the island. It was a totally tourist trap, it was full of little shops and of course everything costs money! (sometimes I don't think kids realize that LOL) We got to see the Wrigley Mansion (Wrigley chewing gum) it was pretty awesome! Then we rode up the top of this hill and got to look down over the ocean it was beautiful! There was even a street named Tremont St. pretty cool if ya ask me:) LOL Everyone on the island either drove sm. cars/trucks or golf carts , as you can see above they even pimped a few of them out! LOL

Day 2 = May 10th

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!! I hope all you mother's out there had the BEST day ever:) I just want to tell my mom and my mother in-law how thankful I am for them, they are both wonderful examples. And I want my kids to know how thankful I am to be their mother, they truly are my greatest blessing:)

On Saturday night as we walked along the harbor there was a guy making these rose bouquets out of corn husks. He was only asking for a donation, and then the proceeds were going to some type of a charity. James had Maddi pick out a bouquet and her & Kobe gave me the flowers w/ a sweet lil HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

We got to the boarding terminal pretty early, after we all got aboard we went and ate. We couldn't go to our rooms til 1:30 so while we waited we watched the Red Bull (the energy drink)air show from the top deck of the ship. It was amazing!! A few of the planes would spell out different things like HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! It was awesome to see the planes they did all sorts of tricks and flips. Sorry no picks of the planes they were going way to FAST!!

The kids were dying to go swimming, so after we were able to go to our room they got on their swimsuits and we headed to the pools. They both thought swimming was the BEST part!

You can either eat @ the buffet for all your meals or each night you can go to the dinning room and have a "fancy" meal. We went to the "fancy" meal every night, cause after awhile you kinda get sick of the buffet. As you can tell Kobe was way to tired to eat, and he fell a sleep @ dinner. Then after dinner when you go back to your room your room host (I guess that's what you'd call him it sounds better than maid)turns down your beds and they always make a animal out of towels and leave a few mints. The mints are my favorite part:) j/k both the kids were so excited to see what animal was going to be on our bed, and it was a.......seal:) very cute, they both loved it! James wasn't all that impressed though cause they kept putting his sun glasses on the different animals, and ya just don't mess w/ my mans stuff:) LOL

Day 1 = May 9th

The BIG drive!! We met up w/ the Marsh family @ 5 a.m. SHARP! And headed south on the longest drive of our lives!! Not really, it really went by FAST! Once we got to San Diego we checked in @ the hotel and just on a side note:)We went the cheap route and got 1 room for all 10 of us, it was a blast!! The BIG kids got the beds and the lil kids slept on the floor, we figured for one night it wouldn't hurt and it was extra cash in our pockets to spend on the cruise. After we got all settled we went & toured the harbor it was beautiful, and we took lots of fun pics:)
