Lava....8/6/2010

On the first weekend in August we went to Lava w/ the 2 Belew families. We floated the river, ate lots of smores and made lots of good memories:)

Mini Drill Camp

Last Friday Maddi went to Mini Drill Camp w/ Marki and the Belew girls:) She is our new "dancing diva" and is loving it!!

Maddi has decided to try dance once again, her & Shay have been practicing w/ the Dance Factory for the parade. I'm not to hip on dance, but Maddi loves dancing and making up cheers w/ our lil neighbor girl Cambria. So I decided that I'd let her try it one more time, so far so good!!:) :) If she's HAPPY I'm HAPPY!! I think she enjoyed Mini Drill better this year than any other year....maybe it's her age or better yet her lil side kick...Shay:)

Willow Park

Last Monday I had to go to the dentist so Maddi came w/ me and her & I did a lil school shopping:) Then after James got off work and Kobe got home from scout camp they rode the bike over and met us @ Willow Park.

The kids had fun feeding the ducks, and it was a fun lil outing as a family:)


And I must say I got some pretty good pictures!! :)

On Monday last week Kobe got to go to his 1st Scout camp @ Camp Fife. Earlier this summer we had rode past Camp Fife on our way to Cutler Dam, and he wanted us to stop. But we told him he'd get to go w/ his scouts so he was all EXCITED!!

It was SUPER hot, but he thought it was AWESOME!

July 24th

We just stayed here in good old Tree Town for the 24th. On Friday night James and I took the kids to the movie in the park....The Spy Next Door, it was on a big blow up screen and it was a super cute show!! We had pizza @ the park and let the kids play on the toys until the movie started.

Then on Saturday Maddi went boating w/ Gp. Rick and Gm. Lynn and the Kent clan. James, Kobe and I went to the park to the car show and then to the truck pulls to cheer our family members on. I must say it was a true "REDNECK" event!! But they all did pretty good:)

Then later that night Bryce, Jody and Haylie Bug came over and we went to the "Mexican" (El Parrall) for dinner and then to the fire works. It was pretty low key but we had FUN!!

Bread in a bag...

Maddi has been doing cooking 4H w/ my mom & her cousin friends this summer and she is loving it!! Our camera was on the wrong setting so this isn't the best picture, sorry!!

They went to the Tremonton Public Works Building w/ all the 4H groups around here and learned how to make bread in a bag, she was so excited that her & Kobe made a few loaves that night. It was a lil lumpy on top but it tasted GREAT!!

B.B.Q w/ the Belew's 7/16/2010

So on Friday the 16th we had a lil BBQ w/ the Belew's and I must say the food was EXCELLENT!! Again I wasn't to great w/ the picture taking and I don't know when I'll get the pictures Jenni & Kalli took so I figured I'd use the 2 pictures I did take:)

The hosts Brett & Jenni a.k.a Maddi's "new parents" :) Maddi spends half her life w/ the Belew's her and Shay have become BFF's, so she decided she'd start calling Brett and Jenni mom & dad... what a silly girl:)

Camping & Bear Lake 7/8/2010

A few weeks ago we went on a lil camping trip & it was pretty dang fun!! We love our second family... the Benson's and always have a great time together. We went up Logan Canyon to Temple Flats (I think that's where we ended up?). It was pretty nice and had lots of shade, but we did get attacked by MOSQUITOES!!

On Saturday we went to the lake, and enjoyed a lil SUN and a good ole milkshake:)

It was a bit windy @ the lake so the guys are holding on to the lil canopy so it wouldn't get blown away...

The kids had fun playing in the lake, but I must say it was a bit COLD!!

As I mentioned above there were LOTS of mosquitoes, the most I have ever saw!! When the guys got out on Thursday night to unhook the trailers they got attacked!! So when Chris & Bryce went down for work on Friday they hooked us up w/ all kinds of stuff to help kill the mosquitoes.


WOW!! I look a lil scary, I don't know what's up w/ the look on my face cause I am enjoying a SMORE!! So I should be all smiles:)

Bike Ride 7/5/2010

On Monday July 5th, we went on an AWESOME bike ride!! We went up through Ogden Canyon and then to Park City and home through Evanston Wy. and Logan Canyon. It was a super nice day, and a AWESOME group of people!
