HaPpY BiRtHDaY....

Grandma Kent!

On April 9th my grandma turned 80!! My dad & his brother & sisters had her a big birthday celebration on Saturday the 7th & me & all my bros & sisters & cousins got to help in the kitchen. It was lots of fun!! My grandma loves things like this. Growing up we would always go to her house on Sundays & she would fix us "snacks" so we served a few of the Kent families favorite "snacks".We had a really good crowd & saw lots of family.

My grandma is an amazing lady & a wonderful example & I am so blessed to have her as a grandma!! :)

My tiny man...

On April 5th my tiny man got glasses.... bitter/sweet :) We took him to his eye appt. in March, James was unable to go so it was just the kids & I. As the doctor told us Kobe was going to need glasses I started to cry & Kobe was busting with excitement!! :) Maddi says mom are you crying I shake my head no as I continue listening to the doctor & then later explain that I was getting a few tears cause it changes your life forever! You always have glasses or contacts to worry about so you can see right!!

It's all good, he thinks it's great & that's what counts... But as you see I am blogging this a few months late & don't worry that he hardly ever wears them!! It's not as great as he thought it would be... not to mention he has a "big ole Kent head" & he could either get kids frames or mens & he thought the mens were so much cooler!! But guess what they don't stay on his head all that well cause they are a bit too BIG!! It bothers him so he always "forgets" to wear them.... But if he would of went with the glasses his mom thought were good we wouldn't have this problem!! :) LOL Live & learn...right?

So before school starts we will be getting another pair that fits & that mom picks!!

Gp. Kennard!!!

On April 1st James & I put together a lil bday party for his dad he turned 75 this year!! My kids thought this Angry Bird cake was cute.... Like Kennard even knows what the heck Angry Birds are :) LoL

There's a 1st time for EVERYTHING!!

So on March 30th I loaded & took my VERY 1st load to the dump!! My work had a bunch of junk laying around & it was driving me CRAZY cause I'm kind of a clean freak!! So I invited Tori to come down from the office & help me load it up & take it to the dump. I was so proud of me!! I always depend on James for things like this & Tori & I did it all by ourselves. I did have one of the truck drivers ride with us to back the load up once we got to the dump but other than that it was all GIRL POWER BABY!!

YaY ME!! :)

Pretty lame to most of you I know but pretty exciting for me to know I could do it all by myself!!

Mexican Riviera Cruise

So the pictures didn't load in the order I had hoped for. They have made a few changes to the blogging format so I guess I'm not up on my blogging skills like I use to be.... But any how back on March 10th James & I headed to Cali to meet up with a bunch of folks from Arizona, some we knew & some we didn't.... But we had an AMAZING time with all of them!! And you'll never guess my favorite part??? The HOT SUN!! :) WoooHoooo I loved it!! It was so nice & warm!!

I always love going to our room after dinner to see what animal they made for us, here is one I thought was cute.

On March 15th James & I celebrated our 16 year anniversary, we got our selves a lil cake & they sang "Happy Versary To You" for us @ dinner that night. We've had a few rough years but over all we've done pretty good & tried to pull together & make the best of things. I LOVE YOU JAMES!!
