1st day of school

I hate summer to come to an end, I love late summer nights & the hot summer sun! But I'm ready to get back on a schedule.

Maddi is in 4th grade and has Mrs. Denney. She is so excited to be back in school, Kami is in her class this year so that makes school all that much better! I can't believe how old my baby girl is getting, she is such a good girl and has a sweet little personality and is always trying to do her best. I love you sister!!

Kobe Man is in 2nd grade and has Mrs. Canfield. He wasn't all that excited for school he thinks it's BORING!!! And he even got a sick belly today:( the poor boy. I was sleeping & James wasn't home when the school called, but after James got the msg. he went over to the school and he had went back to class cause he started to feel better so James just left it @ that. I'm doing the b-day table this year for PTA so I had a few things to do @ the school today & when I got done I just waited for the kids to get out. When Kobe got in the truck he said Mrs. Canfield is so mean:) lol I said why? He's says cause I was sick & she didn't even do ANYTHING!! I said why where you sick cause you missed your mommy! And he just kinda shook his head:)lol I told him the school called & his daddy came to check on him. He says OH! all in all I think he was just a lil home sick, but it makes me feel good to know that he loves us so much his belly hurt!! lol:)

I'm sad that both my kids are growing so fast, but love that we can grow & learn together & hope they both have the BEST year!!

bike ride

Chuck & Kati were test driving my dad's bike, so Sunday morning we went on w lil (long) ride. We went up through Logan Canyon & then over to Afton Wy. and had lunch then came home through Emigration Canyon. It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun despite our bums were killing us the whole way home:)

FaIR WeEk

What a CrAzY BuSy week! But all in all I think we all had a good time, I love the fair and tell my kids it's better than Christmas:) lol But I must say the older I get it's not all it's cracked up to be, but I love running into old friends and catching up. Here's a little run down of our week @ the fair!

From finish to start:)

Saturday night Connor rode @ the rodeo & scored a 73!! His horse wasn't all that great, but he made a great ride! He had lots of fans there to cheer him on!! I was thinking that every member of our family was there but I forgot 3 important people were missing:( But they were celebrating the birth of our newest family member Emry Beth Evans!! She was born Saturday morning Aug. 29th @ 9:06 a.m. and weighted 8lbs. 6oz. and was 19in long. She is beautiful & I will post pics when they get home & we go visit!

Friday night my friends from high school & I thought it would be fun to have Friday Night Fair Night!! It was fun to get together, but the fair isn't all that when your 15yrs older but we still had a good time:) Thanks girls!

Wednesday the kids showed there rabbits and both did well for 1st timers:) We have had fun learning & hope to improve for next year.

They both took first place (blue ribbons) and got $3 which was the best part for Kobe:) lol Here's a pic of them w/ their rabbits in the back ground after all their hard work!

Wednesday was a big day for us, after the show I helped Becki & Jacki w/ the parade line up and James' job was to get all the kids (ours & Kati's) ready &where they needed to be. He did an outstanding job! Thanks honey!!

These 2 girls do a lot of work and we were so worried Jacki would go into labor do to STRESS! It seems like the parade would be any easy job but there is a lot of work behind the scenes. They did a great job & the parade was a success as always!

4H

Both the kids have rabbits and this week we have been busy getting them ready for the fair. Maddi had to do a 4h booklet & Kobe had to make a poster. They both have had a lot of fun, but sometimes are still a little nervous cause they scratch alot. You can tell in this picture that Maddi is getting her belly dug at, she kinda looks like she's in pain:)lol Any how these are some of the pics we took to put in the book & on the poster.

Well I'm a lil behind on my blogging, but any how.... Last friday we decide to go to the pool one last time before schools starts. We have went w/ friends the last few times, but James had the day off and we didn't really have any big plans so we made it a family day. It was fun and the kids loved having their daddy there:)

G.N.O (girls night out)

Last night I went out to dinner w/ Britany & Darcie, @ the Olive Garden. It was so much fun! I truly love these girls, we have had lots & lots of great times together. It was so fun to reminisce about our younger days, I look back and I can't believe some of the things we used to do. My mother would totally die if she knew half the stuff we did, keep in mind we didn't do anything terrible just really out of the ordinary! We don't get together near enough, but I love the fact that when we do it seems like we just pick up where we left off.

Mini Drill Camp

Maddi & Haddi went to mini drill camp on Friday w/ Markelle. Maddi had so much fun, I think she thought it was fun to have her cousin showing her the moves.

Jacki's Baby Shower

Today my sisters and I along w/ my mom gave Jacki a baby shower. I think we had a pretty good turn out, and she got lots of nice gifts. Her little girl is going to be the best dressed princess in town:)

Jacki has always loved being w/ her nieces and nephews and is going to be the best lil mom. I'm so excited for her!!
